Silent gratitude isn’t much use to anyone.
– G. B. Stern
I have never celebrated Thanksgiving in my life, so I actually had to look the day up on Google to see when it was this year. The trigger was the many Thanksgiving posts I read on the Reader just a few minutes back. Happy belated Thanksgiving to you all!
Today is the last quote in the 3D3Q Challenge, and this quote means a lot to me given the circumstances I am in. These days, a lot of focus is on team work, especially in the corporate sector. If you are not a team player, you won’t be successful in the long term. An important element in building team spirit is appreciation. A simple thank you when your team mate backs you in front of your superior will go a long way to make that person feel better. And that positivity will bring a smile on both of your faces.
So, if you feel that there is someone that you should have thanked, go ahead and do it today. Being silent about it isn’t much good to anyone.
That’s right, Arpita! A simple thanks, or any other way you choose to express gratitude, goes a really long way! So I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for being a virtual friend here. Your posts inspire me and I appreciate our exchanges. 🙂
